► My old Websites |
There was a time when creating a website seemed so magical to me. A place online where I could retreat and share my various passions with others. It's funny to think that everyone around me never had any idea of the existence of these worlds that litterally represented my entire universe.

This page have been made to look like my personnal setup from 2006. The picture on the right is the only picture i still own of the 'retro beige' setup. Originally, it was the family PC purchased by my mom's boyfriend at the time. He unfortunately passed away from cancer the year that photo was taken. I will always be deeply grateful to him for introducing my family and me to the wonderful world of computing
As for the desk, I still have it! However, it's been sitting in the basement since 2017. (The year I decided to replace it with a door that I painted orange haha) Unfortunately, the mold has advanced too much to save the furniture. It's a shame, I would've loved to physically recreate my very first setup and display it in my retro room. Still, I made the effort to clean the surface and snapped a few final photos, which I used to recreate the desk surface you see on this page.
The Microphone My good old microphone, this isn’t the original one but it is identical. This one was donated to us a long time ago. I was thrilled since I have lost mine. I remember using it to create my very own 'mp3 Saga' parodying Naruto, or recording voices for RPG Maker games back in 2006.. Such great memories. |

Double-Flip Calculator Those double-flip calculators where awesome! At the press of a button, they’d flip open to reveal the clock and calculator. We had black and grey ones in 2005, I’m pretty sure I used one every morning to wake up. We also got two transparent blue ones in 2006 which I kept on my desk. I dont own them anymore but eBay is looking at me. Absolute Peak Technnology. Cola Can My mom only drink.. Those cans from the local store obviously dont exist anymore. I had to recreate them from scratchbased on what I could see in my 2006 photos. I use to drink way too much of those. I dont really drink Coke or Pepsi nowdays. Lays Stax barbecue chips Those blue pack of chips still exist today. But it was very hard to find a good quality picture online of the old paper print package. I still need to find a better images since this one is way too pixelated. The Secret Dragon Blade Back then, I use to collect dragons and cool blades that my mom would surprise me with. This is one that i particulary loved. I might have gotten it a bit after 2006 tho. I still own it today. Prints and Poster At this time i had printed various Naruto art on regular paper to display into my room. The ones I used are literally from the same picture as the 'beige pc'. I also owned a large 'West Coast Chopper' poster (I was a fan of the tv show 'Monster Garage') and a metalic Jack Rackham poster flag, so i decided to put them there. Bald Eagle Tattoo I used to own a very cool set of temporary tattoos of a bald eagle. I kept them for so long because i didn't want to waste them. Until one day, I decide to stick them on my desk right where the mouse was. They stayed there for a surplysingly long time but eventually they wore off. I was able to recover the design by scanning an old traced drawing I had done before sticking it there. Its funny that i had also used this drawing for a school project on bald eagle. ![]() |
