Becoming a Guardian is easy and safe! We have been online for over a year because of the players who have supported the game and the trust we have established with them. We use Paypal (A trusted Ebay Company) to handle credit and debit card transactions. Guardianship is a one time donation. Artix, the creator of the game will make sure your account is upgraded ASAP. If you use the username/password box below you will be upgraded nearly instantly. If you use the Special Guardian Upgrade page, Artix will upgrade the character by hand and will email you a confirmation letter the moment it is ready for you. Guardian Perks!
Guardian's get the gear! We need your support and we are not holding back our thanks. We reguarly add new great reasons for supporting us. Below is what you will get the moment your character is upgraded.
The Guardian Blade
This awesome looking weapon replaces your standard no-drop weapon. It does 1-20 damage of elemental flux with a 5% chance of performing a "special" that summons a Dragon to your aid.
The Guardian Armors

Heavier and more durable than steel, this armor replaces your existing no-drop armor. In the Tower, there is also Dark Guardian Armor, Horse Rider Armor, Nightmare Rider Armor, Pegasid Rider Armor, and soon for high level Guardians there will be Dragon Rider armor.

You will be able to use the travel button and other areas that have been restricted as a result of bandwidth usage. You are keeping the game online, so you should get to play everything we have built so far!

Potion Upgrade

Start each game with 2 health, and 2 mana potions.

Guardians Tower

The Guardian Tower is a "Guardian Only" area with an armory and a stable. You can pick up additional special items there like the Guardian Shield, Dark Guardian Armor, Guardian-only pets (including sparky the dragon), and various horse riding armors including the new Black Dragon Riding Armor if you are level 35 or higher. There are also special features like the "Vorpal Edge Sharpener" and potion refills. There is also a high level monster arena.

Your character will also be able to reach fame on the Guardian Top 50 lists.

Coming soon is the Elite Ice Armor, but you can always have fun with the Flame Guardian Armor, Black Dragon Riding Armor and other cool Guardian-only armors that are in the tower right now! For the record, the Black Dragon Riding Armor is hands down the coolest looking, biggest, and most fun to play armor in the game so far....

Frequently asked questions!
What are donations used for?
With a few thousand people online and playing at any given time we are racking up a sizable bandwidth bill as well as the monthly fixed cost for our two hosted servers. Your donation makes it possible for us to pay our monthly bill.
How long will it take to upgrade my character?
Credit/Debit/Paypal
If you sign up using the username/password box above, you will be upgraded almost instantly. If you use the special guardian upgrade page, Artix will upgrade the character by hand. Please allow up to 24 hours for him to manually equip your character with all of the Guardian gear and access. Our existing Guardians will tell you it normally happens pretty fast. He checks as often as possible between 9am to Midnight EST. If it has been over a day and you are still not upgraded, please email him at Artix@BattleOn.com . Be sure to include your username, character name, and the transaction ID from your paypal reciept.

Mail - Check / Money Order
The mail here in Land O' Lakes Florida tends to be slow, please allow a week for your character to be upgraded. Artix will upgrades you character as soon as the letter arrives and will send you a confirmation letter the moment your character is equipped. International Guardians, please allow a little longer. If it is has been longer than two weeks, please email Artix the same as above. Do not worry you letter will eventually get here.
Are you guys going to rip me off?
You would be surprised how many times over the last year we have been asked that question. The answer of course is no, we are good people and care about our game and our players. We have been online for over a year with happy players because of our friendly team and determination to make players happy. 100% of all problems can be solved with an email to Artix@BattleOn.com and a little patience. Also, we already give you the game for free (except when we have to have a Guardian swim fund raiser of course.)
Can I send my donation via postal mail?

Certainly. Please use our Mail in Form. We recommend checks or money orders as a safe way to send in your donation. Please allow a week for your character to be upgraded in the United States, and up to two weeks if you are going to be an International Guardian.

I want to upgrade a friend but I do not know his password.

Not a problem, you can upgrade your friend/child/co-worker without needing his password. Simply use the Special Guardian Upgrade Page

1.) If you are donating for someone else and do not know their password
2.) If the regular page(s) are not working for any reason

Is it a one time payment of $12?
Yes, Guardianship is a one time donation of $12. It does not expire, you will never loose your Guardian status. You also will be able to access future Guardian perks (just like the existing Guardians get what is new in the tower this month and access to our new game ArchKnight).
How much if $12 in my currency?

My Father/Mother said I am not allowed to become a Guardian... what should I do?
Listen to your parents. The Guardians are supporting AdventureQuest so that you are able to play it for free. One day, when you are working and have your own means you can help support the game for the next generation of players (Just imagine what the game will look like by then!)
Can I still play while waiting to be upgraded?
Yes, you can continue playing. Once you are "Guardianized" all you need to do is re-login to see your new gear and access the Guardian tower.
